The Amaterasu is part of Shinto cosmology. Whom was first used by Chaosium in 2005 for its Call of Cthulhu role-playing game as an Elder God.
Background
Amaterasu is a Sun Goddess, whose manifestation is that of a luminescent Japanese woman of unfathomable beauty. She is dressed in a dazzling white kimono. The ancient island civilization of Mu worshiped her.
