Looking through this Wiki I noticed that some pages were off, such as the page on the Outer Gods only saying they are defined as existing outside of the Solar System, despite many Lovecraftian beings originating from around Betelguese yet are not defined as Outer Gods.
They are rather in the Outer Void, which needs a page. The Void that appears in Beyond the Gate of the Silver Key. Where Randoulph saw all of the different Outer Gods, it was also brought up in the Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath if I remember correctly.
Also the Ultimate Gate leads to the Outer Void, Randoluph could only see through all Time and Soace for he moves "outside of" and "beyond" all of its extentions. So it is not a gate "through time and space", it rather one that leads outside of all such concepts, in the Archeypal Realm of the Outer Void.
The Outer Void is not Outer Space, Lovecraft made that very clear, so I don't know why the Wiki treats them as just being from Space. Even though "being beyond the solar system", while technically true, is very misleading and even flat-out contradictory.
"A gate had been unlocked—not indeed the Ultimate Gate, but one leading from earth and time to that extension of earth which is outside time, and from which in turn the Ultimate Gate leads fearsomely and perilously to the Last Void which is outside all earths, all universes, and all matter." (Through the Gate of the Silver Key)
"They were sensations, yet within them lay unbelievable elements of time and space—things which at bottom possess no distinct and definite existence. Human utterance can best convey the general character of our experiences by calling them plungings or soarings; for in every period of revelation some part of our minds broke boldly away from all that is real and present, rushing aërially along shocking, unlighted, and fear-haunted abysses, and occasionally tearing through certain well-marked and typical obstacles describable only as viscous, uncouth clouds or vapours." (Hypnos)
"There was a night when winds from unknown spaces whirled us irresistibly into limitless vacua beyond all thought and entity. Perceptions of the most maddeningly untransmissible sort thronged upon us; perceptions of infinity which at the time convulsed us with joy, yet which are now partly lost to my memory and partly incapable of presentation to others." (Hypnos)
"And through this revolting graveyard of the universe the muffled, maddening beating of drums, and thin, monotonous whine of blasphemous flutes from inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond Time; the detestable pounding and piping whereunto dance slowly, awkwardly, and absurdly the gigantic, tenebrous ultimate gods—the blind, voiceless, mindless gargoyles whose soul is Nyarlathotep." (Nyralthotep)
I cannot make the page myself now, my computer is broken and waiting for another, and Fandom is not the best when you are on the phone version. Trust me, I tried to edit and make pages on this. It is not fun.
