Byagoona (The Faceless One) is a Great Old One and the offspring of Lu-Kthu. He arrived on Earth during the reign of the Atlaus civilization. During their reign he was revered as a god of the dead and reanimated the deceased to sustain itself on their life force. It is theorised that Byagoona is not its own entity but is, in fact, an avatar of Nyarlathotep, though this is unconfirmed.
