"Cabal" is a short Cthulhu Mythos story by American author Armand Rosamilia. It forms the third part of his Keyport Cthulhu story cycle.
Synopsis[]
When reporter Elizabeth Marsh travels to Keyport, New Jersey as part of a routine filler piece, she learns that her missing father was born in the town. When she decides to look into her ancestry, she discovers that the town - and her family name - carries with it a dark secret.
Unfortunately, her investigations lead her to stumble into a supernatural prison, where she meets fellow captives Bones and Father Rocco. Although the two are able help Elizabeth escape, she is quickly torn to pieces by the prison's malevolent guardians.

"Cabal" was first published in chapbook format in December 2012. It was later included in the collection Keyport Cthulhu in November 2013.
