Cards of Cthulhu: A Deckbuilding Game, also known as Cthulhu Deckbuilder, is a competitive card game from Duel Grounds.
Overview[]
Based on the works of H. P. Lovecraft and the greater Cthulhu Mythos, Cards of Cthulhu: A Deckbuilding Game was designed by Paul Davis and released in 2015 after a successfully-funded kickstarter campaign.
Gameplay[]
Designed for between two and five players, Cards of Cthulhu involves players taking on the role of one of seven types of investigator, each of which have their own special abilities. The objective of the game is to build the best possible deck through gameplay, and use it to score points whilst avoiding the effects of insanity caused by cards such as Cthulhu, Azathoth and Hastur. The player with the most points at the games' conclusion wins.
