Species

This category contains all creatures, (sentient, non-sentient, native, extra-terrestrial, etc.) that have been classified or described as a large population of similar creatures. This is to say that they share a single, unique, evolving gene pool.

These species have in the past been described using the archaic term "race", but are better described with a contemporary term based in biology and genetics.
