The H.P. Lovecraft Wiki

This subject contains information from the Expanded Cthulhu Mythos, and not based on H.P. Lovecraft's works directly. The Cloud-Thing is a fictional entity created by American author and games designer Kevin A. Ross for the role-playing game Call of Cthulhu. It first appeared in "Thunder in the Blood", a scenario included in the supplement End of the World (Triad Entertainments, 1994).

Overview[]

The Cloud-Thing is one of five Lesser Other Gods from the Court of Azathoth that appeared during a summoning of Azathoth near San Lucas. It appears as a cloudy mass with shimmering bursts of purplish light emanating from within it, as well as a funnel-like extension that reaches almost to the ground beneath, which it uses to suck victims into itself. It leaves behind a light rain of purplish crystals in its wake. (EXP: End of the World)
