This subject is written on a topic in the real world and reflects factual information. This subject contains information from the Expanded Cthulhu Mythos, and not based on H.P. Lovecraft's works directly. Cold Print, by British horror fiction author Ramsey Campbell, is a collection of short stories either set in the expanded Cthulhu Mythos, which contain story elements linking them to the larger universe, or whose subject matter is in the same vein. It is by and large a reprint of the stories found in Campbell's earlier collection The Inhabitant of the Lake and Less Welcome Tenants, with a handful of additional stories added to the contents.

Publication History

First published in 1985 by Scream/Press, Cold Print saw a re-release in 1987 by Tor Books, and then an expanded edition featuring the three stories missing from The Inhabitant of the Lake and Less Welcome Tenants along with three other tales, issued by Headline in 1993.
