🐙 Cronus is a Lovecraftian extra-dimensional entity in the fictional universe of the Rifts pencil-and-paper roleplaying game by Palladium.

Background[]

Cronus is a cruel and evil alien intelligence which created the gods of Olympus. Who enslaved humans and occasionally fed on them. He was was overthrown by his offspring and imprisoned. Cronus' true form is a 60 ft tall dark mass with tentacles and multiple eyes. Originally he was both a leader and strategist who was cold-blooded and cunning. After 1000s of years of imprisonment, it is nearly mindless with hatred and its need for revenge. Cronus has psionic powers and uses ley line magic. It regenerates, can survive a 5.9 Megaton nuke though with grievous wounds, and is able to "devour" beings and assimilate them.
