The Darkness is not just a lack of illumination but is a monster made of negativity that wishes to cause complete chaos and destruction. Besides being older than nearly everything, it is almost a completely unknown deity, besides the information from past religions. But hard to say it was born from anything, so it may be the oldest being and truly eternal.
