Ayi'ig is a fictional entity created by the late American author Walter C. DeBill, Jr. for his 2006 short story "A Movement in the Grass".

The daughter of the Great Old One Yig and the Outer Goddess Yidhra, Ayi'ig appears as an octopus-like monstrosity with serpentine eyes and detachable tentacles that move independently. She lives in a cavern within a deep canyon somewhere in the state of Texas, USA.
