Her sweet voice! Her loving arms! Why would you not embrace our mother?

This subject contains information from the Expanded Cthulhu Mythos, and not based on H.P. Lovecraft's works directly. D'endrrah, also known as The Divinity, is a shape shifting Outer God created by Pierre Zaplotny for "La Terza Bocca di D'endrrah" on the licensed Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game website Tentacules.net.

Description[]

D'endrrah is a being who possesses a great hunger for living worlds. It often manifests in the form of a gigantic squid-like monster or a cloud of heavy, smoky, organic matter with millions of teeth, which wanders the cosmos endlessly to devour any world it stumbles across.

History[]

D'endrrah was defeated by Cthulhu when it threatened to devour Earth sometime before the time of ancient Egypt. Stories are also told of the Egyptian god Ra, the god of the sun, who fought this monster in its guise as Apep from his flying chariot.

Another story tells of how D'endrrah acted on behalf of Yog-Sothoth in a plan to expose and imprison the duplicitous god Olkoth, sealing it beneath a hill in rural Wales (EXP: "Beneath the Pimple").

Appearances[]

Aside from the aforementioned Tentacules.net, D'endrrah also played a pivotal role in Bryn Fortey's short story "Beneath the Pimple", published in Vol 5, Issue 4 of the Lovecraftiana zine in 2021.

Trivia[]

  • "Voice of D'endrrah" was a card in the now defunct Hex digital battle card game.
