The Neptunians, or Yakshians (CIRCLE: "The Family Tree of the Gods"), are an intelligent race from the planet Neptune, as well as one of many species whose brains or nervous systems can be preserved in the brain casts of the Mi-go, a species of fungoid aliens.
They are referenced in The Whisperer in Darkness, although the information that is given about them is scarce at best.
When Hziulquoigmnzhah moved from Yuggoth to Yaksh (i.e. Neptune), he was worshiped as a god by the Yakshians, but eventually grew tired of their attentions and moved on to Cykranosh (i.e. Saturn). (CIRCLE: "The Family Tree of the Gods")
