Behind the Mythos[]

The Deep Gate was first published as a hardback novella by Fantasy Flight Games in June 2018 as part of their Arkham Horror Fiction line of Mythos-related literature. In addition to the story, the release includes full-colour inserts detailing the evidence uncovered by Silas and Abigail during the course of their investigation, and a set of four exclusive cards for use with Arkham Horror: The Card Game.

Trivia[]

  • The antagonists of The Deep Gate are the aquatic Deep Ones, despite Silas himself being a hybrid member of the species.
  • Although having been previously depicted by Fantasy Flight as an antagonistic character in their The Curse of the Dark Pharaoh expansion for Arkham Horror, Abigail Foreman is most definitely portrayed as one of the heroes of the story.
