Background[edit | edit source]

Born to a nun who was raped by the inmates of an asylum, (ADJ: A Nightmare on Elm Street III) Freddy Krueger was bullied in his youth and as an adult murdered the children of those whom bullied him and who formed a mob, hunted him down, and burned him alive. (ADJ: A Nightmare on Elm Street) As he was burning to death, he made a pact with dream demons, becoming one himself. (ADJ: A Nightmare on Elm Street VI)

Since then he has preyed on the teenagers living on Elm Street and those whom descended from the original families, terrorizing and killing them in their dreams. He cannot be killed in the dreamworld but if pulled to the real world, he can be killed. (ADJ: A Nightmare on Elm Street) When killed he goes to hell but has returned repeatedly. He would encounter and battle both Jason Voorhees and Ash Williams at Crystal Lake, and afterwards would use the Necronomicon to try to take over the world. (EXP: Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash, Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash: The Nightmare Warriors)
