From Beyond is a 1986 low-budget horror movie from director Stuart Gordon. It is an adaptation of the H. P. Lovecraft short story of the same name.

Directed by Gordon and co-written by him with Dennis Paoli and Brian Yuzna, From Beyond stars Mythos screen regulars Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton in the lead roles. (Combs and Crampton had previously worked with Gordon on the 1985 adaptation Re-Animator.) It was filmed in Italy with a local crew to keep production costs down.
About a minute of footage was cut prior to From Beyond's original 1986 release in order to secure an "R" rating; this has since been restored and released in an extended cut.
