Galactus

🐙 Galactus is an eldritch cosmic entity and a cosmic horror element in the fictional universe of Marvel by Marvel Comics.

Background

Galactus is the survivor of a previous universe who ended up in this universe and became a cosmic being. One who for billions of years has been forced to feed on the energies of worlds, becoming known as the World Devourer. Who empowers chosen individuals to become his Cosmic Heralds, who represent him in the cosmos and find worlds for him to feed on. Though to humans, he appears as a colossal human-like alien, that is how their minds perceive him and other lifeforms (both sentient and non-sentient) see a different form when looking at Galactus.

He is a being of great power who was able to survive the impact of two planets and being attacked by planet-killing Nega-Bombs. Galactus destroyed solar systems with his energy blasts and during a battle with the Hell Lord Mephisto, they affected several galaxies. Other known abilities include teleportation, creating interdimensional portals, telepathic communication across the universe, matter transmutation, and god-like solar-level strength. In one alternate future he grew to be larger than several combined galaxies.
