🐙 The Graboid is a fictional prehistoric worm species featured as the main antagonist in the Tremors film series and related media.
The Graboid has a metamorphic insect-like life cycle with several different forms at different stages of its life, including a bipedal stage, a flying stage, an immense subterranean stage similar to the Dholes or Cthonians, and various subspecies.
In stories set in the 19th Century it was revealed that the Chinese name for this species is Tu Lung ("Earth Dragon").

- The fictional town of Perfection, Nevada, which is the primary setting of the Tremors franchise, is briefly mentioned in the Cthulhu Mythos story "Forced Labor", by Peter Rawlik, published in the anthology Corporate Cthulhu. Whether or not that means that Graboids exist in the world of the Mythos is up to the reader's interpretation.
