Containing six scenarios which allow investigators to explore the extra-dimensional realm of the Dreamlands, a bestiary of inhabitants, comprehensive background information, player handouts, additional skills and colour maps of the world, H. P. Lovecraft's Dreamlands was first released in 1986 and subsequently updated to accommodate later rules changes.

It was written by Sandy Petersen with contributions from many others including Keith Herber, Richard T. Launius and Lynn Willis, with artwork by Raymond Bayless, Tom Sullivan and Mark Roland.
