H. P. Lovecraft: Against the World, Against Life (originally published as H. P. Lovecraft : Contre le monde, contre la vie) is study of H. P. Lovecraft and his oeuvre by French author Michel Houellebecq.
First published by Éditions du Rocher in 1991, it has since been reprinted many times by many different publishing houses, and has also been translated into both English and Portuguese.
