Horror on the Orient Express is an adventure supplement for Chaosium's horror roleplaying game Call of Cthulhu. Two editions were issued, a boxed set in 1991, and a revised hardcover release in 2013.
Synopsis[]
Set in the classic era Call of Cthulhu of the 1920s and primarily located aboard the prestigious Orient Express, the plot involves a journey from London across Europe en route to Constantinople, with the investigators looking into the death of three identical men while attempting to assemble the pieces of an artefact and simultaneously avoiding the deadly attentions of the Brothers of the Skin.

First Edition[]
The first edition, released in 1991, came packaged as a boxed set containing the following:
- four campaign books totalling 205 pages in length
- 32-page "Strangers on the Train" booklet
- 16 pages of player hand-outs
- 17” × 27” map
- four 11” × 17” cardboard cut-out train car blueprints
- 11” × 17” cardboard cut-out of the Sedefkar Simulacrum artefact
- 11” × 17” cut-out of the Scroll of the Head

Second Edition[]
The second edition was released in 2013 as a pair of deluxe hardcover books. The handouts, maps, blueprints, etc. were all included, although not as separate items as in the previous edition. This edition was also released in digital format.
Spin-offs[]
In July 2023, Chaosium announced a board game spin-off of Horror on the Orient Express. The Kickstarter is planned to launch in 2024, with a projected release date of 2025.
