Consisting of three stand-alone adventures plus all of the necessary handouts and maps, In the Shadows is primarily geared towards newer players of Call of Cthulhu.
It was written by Gary Sumpter, with cover art supplied by Eric Vogt, and runs to a total of 62 pages.
Scenarios[]
- "Devil's Hole", in Scotland, the disappearance of a friend causes the investigators to delve into his twisted ancestry.
- "In the Shadows of Death", while on a pleasure trip to a former Louisiana plantation, the investigators uncover the legacy of a dark experiment.
- "Song of the Spheres", while attempting to assist an elderly madman, the investigators uncover a case of supernatural revenge.
