Trivia

• According to IDW artist Matt Frank there was a planned Infestation story where Godzilla fights Cthulhu but Toho vetoed it presumedly because they didin’t want Godzilla be overshadowed and they want Godzilla to be the main focus.
  • Godzilla would eventually fight Cthulhu in a comic by CMON Games titled Godzilla vs. Cthulhu: A Death May Die Story as a tie-in for the game Cthulhu: Death May Die.
• Although its never explicitly stated, the Elder God featured in the Transformers segment was most likely meant to be Dagon, with his minions being the Deep Ones.
