Synopsis[]

Dr. Adele Kramer, now working for a shadowy government organisation, is sent to investigate the disappearance of a tribe of natives from within Canada's arctic circle. Joining up with local liaison Brennan and Army Ranger Ivalu, the group determines the tribe to have been historic Cthulhu worshippers, and that they have moved on to release something from beneath the ice.

Locating the iceberg sought by the tribesfolk, the group discovers that they have almost freed the entity. Although they are able to kill the surviving cultists, Brennan's mind is broken and he is killed when attacking Kramer. As the beast within the ice finally awakens, the other two are able to kill it with the explosives which they had brought for that very task.

The story concludes with Ivalu being recruited into the same organisation as Kramer.
