This subject is written on a topic in the real world and reflects factual information. James "Jim" Turner was an American editor who worked on several anthologies of Cthulhu Mythos content amongst other works.

Overview

Working as the editorial director for Mythos publishing house Arkham House throughout the 1970s and 80s, Jim Turner took over the post from August Derleth after the latter's death in 1971. Whilst there, he worked on several volumes of Mythos-related content with S. T. Joshi, but left in 1996, citing creative differences with co-owner April Derleth, August's daughter.

After his departure, Turner formed his own publishing house, Golden Gryphon Press, where he worked on similar material to that at Arkham House, and published more Lovecraft-related content.
