Description[]

Mills is a tall, broad-shouldered man somewhere in his early thirties. As a trained law enforcement professional, he generally has a calm demeanour and is able to function well in high-stress situations.

History[]

As a Corporal with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Mills was sent to investigate a strange creature which had washed up on the shore of a small fishing community in Canada named Gallou Cove. Whilst there, he met marine biologist Dr. Adele Kramer, and the two of them attempted to perform an ad hoc autopsy on the beast. However, when they cracked open its shell, a bizarre side-effect of whatever the creature was composed of awakened a psychic ability in them, allowing them to sense when elements of "The Other" (a catch-all term for the forces of the Cthulhu Mythos) are nearby. Shortly afterwards, the creature's mother appeared, and the town was closed down by a mysterious government organisation which also recruited them into its ranks.

Ostensibly promoted to the rank of Inspector in the RCMP and transferred to the other side of the country, Mills was in fact seconded to the agency under the orders of a man named Harjit Singh, who proceeded to send him on a variety of assignments across the country. He has since encountered (and defeated) several elements of The Other including both a Cthulhu worshipper and his summoned abomination and, in partnership with an agent named Pete Ivalu, an entire cult devoted to the Outer God Nyarlathotep.

When Mills and Ivalu, along with Adele Kramer, were called back to Gallou Cove in response to recent developments, Mills was killed by Deep Ones whilst investigating a subterranean shrine.
