John Raymond Legrasse is a fictional character created by H. P. Lovecraft, who makes his first appearance in the 1928 short story "The Call of Cthulhu". Described as "a commonplace-looking middle-aged man," he is a New Orleans police inspector who led the raid on the Cthulhu cult on November 1, 1907.
