John Raymond Legrasse is a fictional character created by H. P. Lovecraft, who makes his first appearance in the 1928 short story "The Call of Cthulhu". Described as "a commonplace-looking middle-aged man," he is a New Orleans police inspector who led the raid on the Cthulhu cult on November 1, 1907.

  • Horror author C. J. Henderson wrote a series of short stories with Legrasse as their protagonist, which were collected under the title The Tales of Inspector Legrasse.
  • Legrasse also appeared as a friend and confidant of Justin Sabbath in H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu: The Whisperer in Darkness graphic novel, written by Mark Ellis.
