Joseph S. Pulver, Sr. (1950-2020) was an American-born author and editor.
Overview[]
Beginning his career in the 1990s with a number of published short stories, Pulver's output covered multiple genres, including fantasy, hardboiled and horror, and he contributed a number of pieces to the expanded Cthulhu Mythos. Many of his stories relate to the mythology of the King in Yellow created by Robert W. Chambers. In addition to writing short fiction and poetry prolifically, he published two full-length novels.
As an editor, Pulver focused on the horror genre, and worked on both anthologies and periodicals.
