Synopsis[]

After arriving in Arkham City, aspiring photojournalist Lilli M. Bridge got a job at the Daily Arkham, a newspaper publisher that was looking for pictures of the giant robot Demonbane to include in their articles. Lilli tries to interview several of the residents including Leica Crusade, Lieutenant Stone and Daijuuji Kurou, but has little to no success at getting any information. When she encounters Al Azif in an area that was restricted by the Hadou Financial Group, Lilli discovers a mysterious piece of alloy as well as successfully photographing Al's missing fragments, known as Zhar and Lloigor. Lilli was nearly attacked by the fragments before being rescued by Kurou.

Back at the Daily Arkham, Lilli's boss had no interest in Zhar and Lloigor, referring to it as an "insignificant occult incident" and scolds her for not getting photos of Demonbane instead. However, the alloy that she retrieved was speculated to be created by the Hadou Financial Group, leading to Lilli coming to the conclusion that the organization must have some connection to Demonbane. Partnered with Kurou, Lilli fails to gain more information by questioning the group leader Hadou Ruri, with the Daily Arkham also encouraging her to not pursue any articles involving their organization's activity. Depressed and disappointed, Lilli got drunk while hanging out with Kurou, who warned her to not get any closer to the "dark realm".

Ignoring his warnings, Lilli decides to visit the restricted area again, where she would accidentally get caught in one of Doctor West's traps. Although the trap was actually meant for Zhar and Lloigor, West set his sights on using Lilli for human experiments but was interrupted by Kurou, knocking West out of the way and freeing Lilli. Shortly afterwards, Al arrives to assist Kurou and retrieve her missing fragments before they get into a confrontation with a Destroyer Robot piloted by West and his android girl Elsa. While piloting Demonbane, Kurou and Al defeated the Destroyer Robot by chopping its limbs off with Zhar and Lloigor, before it was completely obliterated by their finishing move Lemuria Impact.
