The H.P. Lovecraft Wiki

This subject is written on a topic in the real world and reflects factual information. Luigi Cozzi (born 7 September 1947 in Busto Arsizio, Lombardy) is an Italian filmmaker, author and editor who has had a hand in a number of Lovecraftian and Cthulhu Mythos works. He has written at least two short Mythos stories and edited a further two anthologies of material translated into his native language,[1] all of which has been published by Fanucci Editore as part of their I Miti di Cthulhu series. In Wikipedia's article on Cozzi, it is claimed that Dennis Fischer's 2011 non-fiction book Science Fiction Directors, 1895-1998 credits him with the creation of a novel, Cthulu Night.[2] Although outside verification for this is lacking, it would appear at least possible that the author has this confused with Cozzi's short story "La notte di Cthulhu," which translates to "The Night of Cthulhu."[3]

Cozzi's filmmaking credits include numerous science fiction, fantasy, and horror productions, several collaborations with legendary horror director Dario Argento, and the supervision of an edited version of the original 1954 release of Godzilla.[4]
