Marc A. Michaud is an American author, editor and scholar whose focus is weird fiction in general, and the works of H. P. Lovecraft in particular. He is also founder of indie publisher Necronomicon Press, which he began in 1976 to distribute those works of Lovecraft which had never previously seen print. The majority of his writings are non-fiction, and he has collaborated with several other scholars in these; his co-authors include S. T. Joshi, Donald R. Burleson and Steven J. Mariconda.
Michaud was also a member of the Providence Pals, an informal group of H. P. Lovecraft enthusiasts and scholars active from the late 1970s through to the 1990s.
