Overview[]

A long-time fan of roleplaying games, Marcus L. Rowland began submitting articles to hobby magazines including home-brew supplements and his own opinions on games. He wrote on a wide variety of roleplay games, and in 1985 began to write complete modules for several of these, including Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu, for which he contributed to seven published sourcebooks. Although he continues to write material for RPGs, he ended any association with Chaosium and other game publishers in 1989, and no longer contributes to Chaosium supplements. Since then he originated the modern version of the OGL concept and publishes Forgotten Futures RPG.
