The Midnight Sons are a fictional team in the prime reality of the Marvel universe of Marvel Comics.
Background
The Midnight Sons (aka, Children of Midnight) is a supernatural team of superheroes. Whom have dedicated themselves to protect humanity from supernatural threats. They fight supernatural creatures such as vampires and werewolves. It's a team which has been around for over two decades and has included Ghost Rider, Mobius the Living Vampire, Doctor Strange, and Blade.
The team has clashed repeatedly with Chthon an Old One, it's minions (e.g. N'Garai), and the Cult of the Darkhold. Blade temporarily came under the influence of Chthon and went on a murderous spree. Recently they pursued the superhuman serial killer Carnage who attempted to bring about the return of Chthon to Earth, stopping him in time and preventing the return of Chthon and the other Old Ones.
