Synopsis[]

When amoral factory supervisor Bud Womack finds out a dirty little secret kept by one of his new staff, he attempts to blackmail the girl into embarking on a carnal relationship with him. However, what he has not counted on is that the girl is in fact a priestess of Shub-Niggurath, and has engineered the situation to drain Bud's life essence, while her former mentor - now gloriously transformed by her god and inhabiting another plane of existence - claims his soul…

Characters[]

  • Bud Womack: a lustful man with a lack of any kind of moral compass.
  • Dora McCain: a hillbilly girl recently relocated from West Virginia to texas to continue her duties as a priestess of Shub-Niggurath.
  • Mother Shub: a former priestess of the Outer God, now transformed into an inhuman monstrosity.

Behind the Mythos[]

Dora McCain and Mother Shub are recurrent characters in Ron Shiflet's Cthulhu Mythos fiction, both making appearances in several of his shorts. However, their stories usually take place in the backwoods of the Appalachian mountains rather than the big cities of Texas.
