Mount Semura' has historically been part of Tibetan cosmology, a mythical mountain which was often identified with Mount Kailash in western Tibet. The Mount Semura of the Cthulhu Mythos was created by Chaosium for the Call of Cthulhu RPG in 2005.

BackgroundEdit

Mount Semura is a mystical mountain which is located within the Tibetan Himalayas. It's a vast floating mountain that is invisible to humans. Those whom are worthy can ascend to the base of the mountain via a transparent stair. The mountain itself is a paradise of quiet green gardens and perfect weather. A great Tibetan-like temple is at the top, it's spire reaching so high that those in the region often mistake it for the North Star. It's a place of esoteric knowledge, with its lamas and millennia old beings spreading their knowledge to the world via their messengers.
