Nagoob (Father of Ghouls) another name for the godling Shaurash-Ho used in the Book of Eibon. Nagoob was created by Lin Carter.

Behind the Mythos[edit | edit source]

Lin Carter also named Nug as the "Father of Ghouls," then seems to have realized his mistake and come up with this name (after also muddling Nyogtha's name with the appellation), forgetting that Lovecraft had already given the world Shaurash-ho. That it is the Hyperborean version, resolves most problems as it simply becomes an alternative name. Also spelt Naggoob.

The Twin Blasphemies Nug and Yeb are sometimes called referred to as Nagoob.[1]
