The Old Ones are a race or group of demonic-like godlike beings in the Grimm Fairy Tales multiverse which are based on the Old Ones of the Cthulhu Mythos. They were first identified as Old Ones in issue #2 of the 1st volume of "Call of Wonderland" in 2012. The first Old One to appear was the Jabberwocky in issue #16 of the 1st volume of the Grimm Fairy Tales in 2007, though he wasn't identified as an Old One till years later.
Background
The Old Ones are incredibly powerful entities, that represent the forces of chaos in the cosmos. Who waged a war against the Keepers who represented the forces of order, across the realities that threatened to tear the multiverse apart. Defeated by the Keepers they put into slumber and imprisoned for eternity.
The Keepers spared only one, the youngest of the Old Ones, for all intents a baby, the Jabberwocky. Who was put in the Realm of Dreams, to have its evil cleansed, which ended up being a spectacular failure. Early in the 21st century, the Red Knight tried to free the Old Ones, so that they would destroy the world.
