Olkoth , also known as The God of the Celestial Arcs, is an Outer God created by user Danto on the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game website Tentacules.net. It was later given an in-print publication when it was included as the antagonist of Bryn Fortey's 2021 short story "Beneath the Pimple."
Description[]
Olkoth appears as a demoniacal deity with the ability to manifest in the form of a human if certain conditions are met, such as in proximity to an eyeless, grotesque statue of the Virgin Mary. It is described as a cautious being, one which always waits to see which way the wind is blowing before taking sides in any conflict.
History[]
Olkoth has always played on the sidelines, aligning itself with whatever being it deems to be the potential victor. However, the Outer God Yog-Sothoth, losing patience with Olkoth's machinations, set in motion a plan to trick it into taking the wrong side and thus allowing Yog-Sothoth to wreak its vengeance upon it. This plan, enacted with the aid of D'endrrah and involving Mh'ithrha, resulted in Olkoth being imprisoned beneath Twymbarlwm, a culturally significant hill in Wales. (EXP: "Beneath the Pimple")

Since its creation, Olkoth has appeared in the short story "Beneath the Pimple" by Bryn Fortey, published in Vol 5, Issue 4 of the Lovecraftiana zine.
