Pagan Publishing was a small publishing company whose focus was on Cthulhu Mythos games and related fiction.
Overview[]
Founded by John Scott Tynes in 1990 when he was just 19, Pagan Publishing's first product was the Call of Cthulhu fanzine The Unspeakable Oath. As the company grew and expanded it began to produce actual sourcebooks for the game, perhaps the most famous being the Delta Green supplement written by Tynes, Adam Scott Glancy and Dennis Detwiller.
Since it’s formation, Pagan Publishing has mostly produced content in book form, although it has also dabbled in the field of card games with Creatures & Cultists in 1993 and even released a modular board game in the form of The Hills Rise Wild! in 2000.
Pagan also released a small amount of non-gaming work through their Armitage House imprint, the majority of which was devoted to Delta Green fiction.
As of July 2021 Pagan Publishing's website is no longer available to access, indicating that the company has ceased trading. All new Delta Green material is now handled by Arc Dream Publishing.
