Pandora Peaslee is a fictional character created by American author Peter Rawlik for his Cthulhu Mythos fiction.
Description[]
Pandora is an unspecified descendant of the Peaslee line, which includes Nathaniel Wingate Peaslee and Wingate Peaslee, characters who made their first appearance in H. P. Lovecraft's novella The Shadow Out of Time.
A former Central Intelligence Agency operative, Pandora later came to work as a government liaison to Mister Ys, a member of the Great Race of Yith, thousands of whom were living quietly among us in the build up to a calamitous event. In the aftermath, Pandora found purpose in becoming a resistance fighter against the Yithians who had harnessed a biological weapon and used it to subjugate the human race.
History[]
Pandora was present at the fall of the human race, when an experimental biological weapon was unleashed on the populace, causing an outbreak of zombie plague. Fortunately for some, a recent influx of Yithians, come to witness the end of the world, had made preparations for a select group of humans with particular skill sets to have a chance at survival, Pandora amongst them (EXP: "Time Flies").
Later, when the plague had brought the human race low, the Yithians used their advanced technology to control the zombie hordes, subjugating what remained of the population. Pandora used a special serum and invocation to the Great Old One Hastur to disorient the aliens, allowing her people to begin their reconquest of Earth (EXP: "The Pestilence of Pandora Peaslee").
