Description[]

A 6-year veteran in the Canadian Army Rangers, an organisation purposed with maintaining a military presence in the Arctic Circle, Pete Ivalu was a small man with an infectious smile. He was of Inuk (Inuit) descent, a trait which aided him during his deployment in the tundra.

History[]

After his squad was tasked with the investigation of a missing tribe in the far north of Canada, Ivalu was assigned to assist Dr. Adele Kramer in preventing them from completing their purpose: awakening a malevolent entity trapped in the ice floes. In the aftermath of this operation, he was seconded to the Department of Extraordinary Phenomena, a black-ops government agency dedicated to protecting humankind from "The Other".

Ivalu's first mission saw him partnered with Joe Mills, an Inspector in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the two successfully eliminated a Nyarlathotep cult.

His second assignment, which would prove to be his last, saw Ivalu, Kramer and Mills sent to the site of a former incident. There, they encountered an avatar of Nyarlathotep going under the name of William Akeley which promptly killed Ivalu, seemingly for nothing more than the fun of it.
