Pharol is a fictional deity created by C. L. Moore for her Northwest Smith series of science fiction stories. He was incorporated into the Cthulhu Mythos by Henry Kuttner in his 1939 short story "Hydra".
Description[]
Pharol is a black, fanged, cycloptic demon with arms like swaying serpents. The entity normally dwells in another dimension - a "seething and sub-dimensional chaos" beyond the mundane universe. The wizard Eibon of Hyperborea occasionally summoned Pharol to query him for arcane information. (EXP: "Shaggai")
