Phoenix Force (Marvel Comics)

🐙 The Phoenix is an eldritch cosmic entity and cosmic horror element in the fictional universe of Marvel by Marvel Comics.

Background

The Phoenix Force is a child of the universe, the mutable and indestructible manifestation of the universal force of life. Not only does it represent the forces of creation and destruction but also life that has not been born yet. Occasionally it takes a host, most recently its favored host has been the human mutant, Jean Grey of the X-Men. Many if not most individuals that serve as the host, sooner or later lose control of the Phoenix or give in to their darker side. Resulting in worlds, stars, and even galaxies being consumed by the Phoenix. In some realities, the Phoenix has consumed the entire universe.
