William Joseph "Billy" Martin (born May 25, 1967 as Melissa Ann Brite), formerly known as Poppy Z. Brite, is an American writer who has written extensively in the gothic horror genre. His work has been included in collections of Lovecraftian fiction, including Cthulhu 2000, Shadows Over Baker Street, and The Children of Cthulhu.
