Goodfellow has described the books as "a two-part modern epic based upon Lovecraft’s At the Mountains of Madness."[1]

Synopsis[]

The new age cult Radiant Dawn and the Mission, a coalition of renegade Special Ops officers and DARPA scientists, continue their secret war. Zane Storch and Stella Orozco, now transformed into meta-Shoggoths, try to figure which--if any--side that puts them on. And FBI analyst Martin Cundieffe tries to figure out what's going on, and where the Cave Institute, a secret society of ungendered illuminati, fits in.
