S. Petersen's Field Guide to Creatures of the Dreamlands is a sourcebook for Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game.

Collecting an assortment of creatures which inhabit the Dreamlands, the Field Guide features full-colour illustrations, size comparisons, monster habitats, behaviours and recognition guides, along with maps of the Dreamlands. It was written by Sandy Petersen with contributions from Lynn Willis and Tom Sullivan, and artwork by Mark J. Ferrari.
Like its companion book S. Petersen's Field Guide to Cthulhu Monsters, Creatures of the Dreamlands contains only flavour text and images; no actual gameplay information is included.
Publication History[]
S. Petersen's Field Guide to Creatures of the Dreamlands was published in 1989 and is currently out of print. However, Chaosium released a successor of sorts in 2015 with the publication of S. Petersen's Field Guide to Lovecraftian Horrors, a book which combines the contents of both Creatures of the Dreamlands and Cthulhu Monsters, along with some additional material.
