Satampra Zeiros is a character created by the late American author and Lovecraft contemporary Clark Ashton Smith for his Hyperborean Cycle series of fantasy stories.
Description[]
A life-long thief, Satampra Zeiros was good at his profession, although he stated to have never stolen from anyone who was not a robber themselves in some shape or form. He was described as a largish man, and later in life was missing his right hand, the result of a near-fatal encounter with a Formless Spawn of Tsathoggua during a calamitous expedition to the abandoned city of Commoriom.
Zeiros loved a woman named Vixeela, a former temple girl who later became his accomplice, but he outlived her by many years. Indeed, he appears to have outlived all of his friends and associates by some time.
