Sergio Palumbo is an Italian author who has written a number of Lovecraftian stories, several of which have been included in Rogue Planet Press publications such as Swords Against Cthulhu, Swords Against Cthulhu II: Hyperborean Nights, and Lovecraftiana.
Palumbo is an Italian civil servant, a law school graduate with a focus on public real estate. He is the co-editor (with Michele Dutcher) of the steampunk anthology Steam-Powered Dream Engines (2018) and the science fiction collection Xenobiology: Stranger Creatures (2020), both published by Rogue Planet Press. In addition to numerous horror and science fiction anthologies, his work has appeared in outlets like Aphelion Webzine, Weirdyear, Quantum Muse, AntipodeanSF, Schlock!, and SQ Mag. He also designs and builds sci-fi dioramas.[1][2]
In addition to H. P. Lovecraft, he credits horror writers Stephen King and and Edgar Allan Poe, science fiction's A. E. Van Vogt and Robert A. Heinlein, and fantasist J. R. R. Tolkien as inspirations for his work.[3]
