Overview[]

The first scenario supplement for Call of Cthulhu, Shadows of Yog-Sothoth contains a seven-part campaign and two stand-alone adventures. The campaign takes the players across the globe in pursuit of the cult of the Hermetic Order of the Silver Twilight, from America’s east coast to Scotland to the South Pacific. The two adventures consist of "The People of the Monolith", a trip to Hungary in search of a mysterious poet, and "The Warren", the hunt for a missing friend in Boston.

Publication History[]

Released in 1982, the first edition of Shadows of Yog-Sothoth ran to 72 pages and featured artwork by Tom Sullivan. In 1989, it was collected along with other previously-published playing material and an all-new scenario in Cthulhu Classics, while in 2004, it was re-released in an updated format for the sixth edition of Call of Cthulhu along with new material and artwork. This version ran to 144 pages.
